We are proud to be a member of Breastfeeding Wairarapa and along with this collective, support the recent Peer Counsellor programme for breastfeeding mothers.

Breastfeeding mothers in the Wairarapa now have a great support network to ensure an enjoyable, healthy breastfeeding experience, with 26 trained counsellors available for advice.  Having trained councellors ensures Wairarapa mothers receive consistent, relevant and correct information to help them maintain their 'exclusively breastfed feeding programme' for longer.
