Get your COVID-19 Vaccination at an Accessible Event!

Everyone who has a disability, impairment or long term health condition can now book an appointment to get their COVID-19 Vaccination. We want to make sure that getting your COVID-19 vaccination is easy and accessible!

COVID-19 vaccinations at Accessible Events are still happening during Alert Level 2 Delta, but there are some different rules to follow to make sure everyone is protected from Covid-19.

If you are attending an Accessible Vaccination Event

You may get a text message, email, or call to let you know about the Alert level 2 Delta rules at Accessible Vaccination Events. It is important to follow these rules. If the Alert Level 2 Delta rules make it difficult for you to attend or get your vaccination safely, let us know and we can change your appointment.

If you are feeling sick, please do not come to an Accessible event. Contact us as soon as possible to cancel your appointment and book a different time.

You can still book an appointment to get your vaccination at an Accessible Event.

What are Accessible Events?

We have organised some vaccination days and times for anyone who has a disability, impairment or long term health condition. These days and times are specifically set up to be extra accessible, welcoming, relaxed and easy.

Accessible Events will have:

  • Information in large print, Easy Read and NZSL
  • Friendly staff who are happy to talk with you and answer questions

We also have some more specific Accessible Events, including:

  • Events with NZSL interpreters
  • Low-sensory environments

If you want to come to an Accessible Event and you have any other specific access requirements, please let us know what you need when you book!

You can get your vaccination at an Accessible Event if you:
