The more people who are fully vaccinated, the more protection we have against COVID-19 and this gives us more freedom, especially with summer just around the corner. It's never been more urgent to get as many people as possible vaccinated as quickly as possible.

It's about protecting ourselves, our whānau, and our communities in this outbreak and we all have a role to play.

This is why we're pulling out all the stops to increase our vaccination rates - let's be the first region to reach 90 per cent!

Saturday 16 October is Super Saturday, a national day of action for vaccination. It's the ideal opportunity to get your first or second dose.

Fully vaccinated? You can still help by reaching out to friends, whānau and colleagues who may still be hesitating, listening to their concerns and provide support however you can.

You can book now or walk in to many of the community vaccination centres and clinics across the Greater Wellington region.

Find your closest vaccination centre.  Or visit one of the many special events this week.

Take two for the team. Let's get greater Wellington vaccinated.

It's natural to have questions about the COVID-19 vaccine. We are here to listen and do what we can to answer those questions.

If you're unsure about getting vaccinated, come along to one of the events or to a clinic and talk to our friendly teams. We can also connect you with people, events and information sources that you can access yourself to help answer any questions you still have.

It’s important you feel comfortable that this is the right thing for you and your whānau. You can come back and see us as many times as you need to.

If you choose to get vaccinated, we will make it as easy as possible. There are a variety of mobile clinics, festivals, accessible events, and community centres and you don’t need an appointment.

If you know someone who is not sure about the vaccine, reach out and talk. Here are some hints on how to have those conversations.
