Hot topic: MMR (Measles, mumps, rubella) immunisation

Tamariki will be protected earlier from measles

Since October 2020 the Measles Mumps and Rubella (MMR) immunisation has been offered at 12 and 15 months of age. Previously this was offered at 15 months and 4 years. The vaccine is FREE and tamariki need two doses to provide the most effective protection. For any enquiries regarding the number of MMR vaccines your tamariki have had, please contact your local medical centre.
